The Second Wind air purifier, with it's completely unique process, combines two proven, time-tested technologies.  First, ultra-violet, anti-germicidal light, which has been used successfully since 1936 in controlling airborne living organisms, is introduced and activated oxygen atoms are created which cannot exist on their own.  Their sole purpose, during their existence, is to combine with airborne impurities.  The resulting activated atoms attach themselves to the contaminate is a gas, or by oxidation, if the contaminate is a particle.

The EPA tells us that the air inside your home can be up to 40 to 70 times more polluted than the outdoor environment.  In order to test the effectiveness of the Second Wind Air Purifier in eliminating airborne contaminates in an enclosed environment, petri dishes were placed in a portable classroom and left uncovered to accumulate any airborne contaminates and were then removed.  A portable Second Wind Air Purifier programmed to run for three separate one hour periods within 24 hours was then placed in the room.  The dish on the left shows the dramatic results.  Over the 72 Hours of the experiment, 100% of the contaminates were eliminated.
